Tip 3: Be Honest About Your Phone’s Condition 

At Mazuma, we categorise your device in one of three ways. You may be pleasantly surprised with how generous our categories are, and how much you could get for your device. After all, we’re not expecting perfection!

Excellent – For your device to be considered excellent, it doesn’t need to be perfect – just working well and not showing too many signs of wear and tear. Typically, if your phone has fewer than 3 very light scratches on the screen, is containing all its parts, and has battery health above 80%, this is considered excellent.

Good – A good device is one that shows a few more signs of being used, but is still fully functional and powers on.

Faulty – We don’t believe in ‘broken’ at Mazuma, we call phones with technical or physical flaws ‘faulty’! If there’s a crack in your screen, or malfunctioning buttons, there are still things we can do to recycle or refurb your old tech. We do, of course, have some exceptions to this so it’s always worth double checking our Ts &Cs.

Remove Your Device’s Data… Or Don’t!
