Images have surfaced that seem to suggest Samsung is planning on bulking up its future mobile phones by introducing metal frames.
Details have been leaking about the Samsung Galaxy S5 for a while but this is the first news that suggests the company may be rethinking the materials of the device's frame.
According to the French website Nowhereelse, the next Galaxy flagship will bring a metal frame on the inside to bring some sturdiness to the typically all-plastic Samsung handsets.
The current Galaxy S4 measures 5.38 inches x 2.75 inches but the new metal frame is 5.6 inches x 2.8 inches. This could suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S5 could feature a bigger screen than the five-inch display that its predecessor carries.
Recent rumours have also suggested that the next Galaxy flagship could be the first device from the company to include a 64-bit chip to boost the smartphone's power, as well as leaks predicting that Samsung's Galaxy S5 could bring a eye scanner.
