While iPhone and Samsung might dominate the mobile world, there are several Android brands which are giving the technology giants a run for their money. The Huawei P10 is one of the models which has earned a great deal of credibility since its release earlier this year.
Though many have compared the model to the iPhone, it actually has many unique features which some argue makes it a superior device. It's fair to say that from an aesthetic point of view there are several similarities to the Apple classic. The Huawei P10's primary colour is black, only furthering the iPhone comparison, but there are limited numbers of colour versions available which set it apart. Two of the colours, the green and blue, might not be to everyone's taste but were developed in conjunction with Pantone and will make your phone stand out from the black and silver crowd.
The camera also has some nice features. Its zoom is considered to be smoother than the iPhone and it also has a black and white and a colour camera. The two cameras also improve the quality of pictures which are taken in low light. The image stabilisation laser also helps keep the pictures nice and sharp.
One of the best things about this phone is the speed. Many have reported that it is one of the fastest models on the market. There is zero lag from switching on to navigating through the home screen for general use. This speed is likely down to the Kirin 960 processor which the phone uses.
The primary criticism of the new phone is the questionable battery life. A high-quality camera and super fast interface often have a drawback and in this case it's the longevity of the battery. However, the device does charge quickly and you can get 50% of your juice in just under half an hour – after that, the charging time slows down.
