The 16GB version of the white Nexus 4 mobile phone has sold out in the US already, although users can still get their hands on the 8GB option.

However, with there being no microSD card slot on the device people may be put off purchasing a handset that doesn’t have that much space.

The news, although it may be positive for the company, may anger many Nexus-fans as the same thing happened with the black version when it was launched last year.

Stock shortages seem to be a common occurrence for the firm and its no wonder fans are losing patience with the Nexus smartphones.

Surely both Google and manufacturer LG should have learnt their lessons by now and been better prepared for the demand.

There is still no news about when the white Nexus 4 will reach British shores, but we’re assured it shouldn’t be too much longer. Let’s just hope the companies can replenish stocks in time.
