Virgin Media has unveiled details of the latest changes to some of its pay monthly tariffs.

The network claimed it had been able to undercut its rivals by £2 with a new £25 option that provides the user with unlimited SMS messages and voice calls to use over the period.

In addition, it was noted that subscribers to the £25 monthly tariff would also be able to use the latest phones to get online and enjoy limitless web browsing.

Virgin Media said these “competitive bundles” would make things cheaper for their customers and were expected to be popular.

The firm’s managing director of mobile Graeme Oxby said: “We’re offering consumers outstanding value and much greater choice, with hundreds of minutes, countless texts and endless web browsing.”

Virgin currently has a wide selection of handsets available under the offer – with models on its pay monthly service including the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
