Individuals who complete a mobile trade-in and secure a Nokia handset as a replacement will have multitude of 2010’s best apps to choose from when it comes to adorning their new device with features.

Adam, author of the latest Nokia Conversations blog, compiled his favourite apps of the last 12 months, which are headed by Shazam.

The tool can be used to identify pieces of music and, upon recognition, offers details of the track title and artist to users.

He moves on to nominate Nokia Panorama as a useful function for taking wider photographs and FourSquare, which focuses on the location-aware aspect of social networking portals.

Having made his suggestions, Adam invites readers of the online publication to have their say on the year’s best app – something that may inspire those to have recently acquired a Nokia mobile.

Among the brand’s latest releases are the long-awaited Nokia N8 and C7 models.
