People looking for a low-cost smartphone to replace the mobile they have traded-in for cash could turn to the Vodafone 845.
Asavin Wattanajantra, taking a look at the device for CNET UK, says it has a number of impressive features and is cheaper than a standard contract.
Indeed, he nominates it as the second-best handset of all in its particular market.
Mr Wattanajantra views the latest model as an upgrade of the Vodafone 845, which he remarks was available on a deal for £15 a month and "we're thinking this is how much the 945 will go for when it hits the shelves".
The reviewer also expects the device to be available on a pay-as-you-go basis, meaning those who do not want to be tied in for the long term can also enjoy it.
Damien McFerran, also of CNET UK, reviewed the Vodafone 540 recently, criticising it for "falling down" in most areas.
