Consumers excited by the prospect of the world’s first dual-core smartphone being released in March could start preparing to trade-in their existing mobile in order to raise funds to purchase it.
Luke Johnson, writing for news and reviews site T3, explains the LG Optimus 2X is set to be launched in the UK on March 18th.
However, with a price tag of £469.99 – perhaps emphasising the high quality of the device – raising funds through actions such as trading-in a mobile may be essential.
He goes on to note the handset is available to pre-order now, which could tempt some people to bring forward their purchase.
“Unveiled at CES 2011 earlier this month, the Optimus 2X will complement its dual-core credentials with a feast of high-end specs including a four-inch WVGA touchscreen display [and] 8GB of inbuilt storage,” Mr Johnson writes.
LG offers mobile phones that run on either the Android or Windows 7 operating systems.
