The IFA Trade Show kick started on September 5th in Berlin, bringing exciting news and exhibitions to the world of technology.
Here are some of the great new smartphones highlighted so far.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Samsung announced the arrival of the Galaxy Note 4 alongside the Galaxy Note Edge. A successor to the Galaxy Note 3, it will be the first mainstream Samsung phone that features a QHD or 2K display, similar to the LG G3.
With a new metal design and enhanced software, alongside an improved camera, users can expect to be able to shoot 120-degree selfies due to a new Wide Selfie mode. The Galaxy Note 4 will also come in black, white, gold and pink and features a 2.5D curved display.
Sony Xperia Z3
The new Sony Xperia Z3 seems to be a fantastic new smartphone, especially given that it offers two days of battery life, perfect for those who may be working away from home for long periods of time.
The Sony Xperia Z3 will run on the same quad-core 2.5GHz MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 chip that is also used in the HTC One M8, LG G3 and the Galaxy S5. With either 16 or 32GB of storage, which can be increased to 128GB with a microSD card, the Sony Xperia Z3 is likely to be popular when it hits shelves.
Microsoft Nokia Lumia 830
Microsoft’s newest venture, the Nokia Lumia 830, is a great mid-range smartphone that runs on Windows 8.1 with improved speed and camera abilities. It has a 5-inch display and a 10MP Pure View rear snapper that will also let the user record 4k videos.
The Nokia Lumia 830 will be available in green, white, orange and black, and is sure to be a hit with fans of Microsoft.
