People who hate going to the supermarket may be interested to hear the Ovi Store has a new app that means individuals can shop from the comfort of their armchair.

Those who do not have a Nokia smartphone may like to sell their old mobile so they can use the cash to buy one and they will then be able to have access to the Tesco app.

In an article for Nok Nok, Phil B suggested the application is ideal for those who want to do their shopping with minimal fuss.

"The Tesco Groceries app is incredibly simple to use – the menus are attractive, and the buttons are more than big enough, even for those with larger fingers," he added.

Mr B noted if mobile users are unsure of what they are looking for they can search for products via a range of categories, including frozen food, drinks, baby, household, health and beauty and pets.

Earlier this week, the London Tube app was revamped and mobile users can now search for their nearest docking station in the Barclays Cycle Hire scheme in the capital.
