Sony's upcoming mobile phone has reportedly made another appearance on the internet.

The device, currently codenamed Honami, has been rumoured to be released under the name of Sony Xperia 1i, is expected to bring with it a 20-megapixel camera.

However, the handset in the image appears to look a lot like the current Xperia device although there are a few, small differences.

The slim Sony handset is in keeping with the company's signature appearance, although there appears to be a glass plate on the back.

In the past, leaks have implied that the device will carry a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chip, Qualcomm Adreno 330 graphics, 2GB of memory, 16GB of storage and a microSD slot.

The next Sony Xperia is also expected to bring a five-inch screen as well as a two-megapixel camera, all powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
