Sony has reaffirmed its commitment to Entertainment Everywhere with the release of its cloud-based music service app this Friday (May 25th).

The firm announced the imminent release of the Music Unlimited service application for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

By downloading the free application, subscribers will be able to access the service's global catalogue of millions of tracks from all your favourite stars.

The Apple mobile phone is the latest addition to the Music Unlimited service with other connected devices including the PlayStation 3, BRAVIA TVs and both Android tablets and smartphones.

Vice president and general manager of Digital Video and Music Services at Sony Network Entertainment Michael Aragon said the company wants to give people as much choice as possible when listening to their favourite music.

President of Sony Network Entertainment Tim Schaaff added: "Bringing the Music Unlimited service to iPhone and iPod touch is one of the many ways we are able to reach more music lovers around the world."
