Although we've already heard that Sony could be adding to its range of Xperia mobile phones, the company has now published some official photos, accidentally.

The images that were published on Sony's website show the names of the upcoming devices as well as giving a clear, and official, idea of what users can expect.

Sony Xperia Z1S is the name given for the device that was previously known as the Z1 F or the Z1 Mini. Images appeared online before being quickly taken down from the website, but not before XperiaBlog took a screenshot.

However, apart from confirming that the device exist, the images don't really give much more information. The leaked photo and its text indicate that the device is identical to the Sony Xperia Z1, but given the S, it's a fair assumption to guess that this will be a pint-sized version of the flagship.

Previous leaks suggested that the Sony Xperia Z1S would have a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM.
