It appears that yet another manufacturer is aiming to release a miniature version of its flagship mobile phone, as rumours indicate that Sony is planning a Honami Mini.
Following in the footsteps of HTC and Samsung, reports suggest that Sony aims to offer a pint-sized variant of its heavily-rumoured Honami handset, according to the Esato forum.
Details were posted under the guise of "randomuser" and released information which suggested a 4.3-inch Sony device is being produced.
The handset would also come with a 2.2.GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 20-megapixel camera and 2,400mAh battery.
If the leaked details come to fruition, it would overshadow the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini, which have both been seen major specification downgrades from their bigger flagship smartphones.
Although the IFA 2013 event in Berlin just around the corner, it's unlikely that we'll hear anything about the scaled down handset there as the tipster says we won't see the device until "December or January next year".
