Mobile recycling may be worth considering for consumers looking to purchase the new Sony Ericsson Vivaz.

People who love music could find that the phone is just what they have been waiting as it comes pre-loaded with the Spotify for Symbian application, meaning that access to more than six million songs is available in an instant.

Spotify has proved popular with music fans as it streams music for free without the need to download tracks and the option of listening to songs while on the move could be enough to make selling an old phone for cash a wise move.

Sylvia Chind, head of branded devices for 3UK, said: "Because our network is designed and built for the mobile internet customers are really able to get the best experience from smartphones like the Sony Ericsson Vivaz."

Other features of the phone include an eight megapixel camera with high-definition video recording.

A recent report from the Global System for Mobile Communications Association found that during December 2009, 16 million people around UK used their mobile phones to access the internet.
