Gamers with the latest phones looking for something a little different may be interested in a new review.

Connect2Media has launched a new title that impressed one writer this week by offering an innovative take on a control system that has appeared on a number of other recent titles.

Spanner Spencer says in a piece for Pocket Gamer there are a number of similarities between Tumblebugs and Zuma – which has been available on the Apple iPhone 3G for some time.

However, testing the former on the Sony Ericsson K800i, he says there may be something there to win many players unfamiliar with its one-thumb control approach over.

"If Tumblebugs is your first experience of this particular match-three strain, it’s sure to hook you onto the concept within the first couple of levels," he concludes.

Luxor is another similar game mentioned in the review – and is one that has been tested on the site.
