People who opt to sell a mobile phone and invest in a new hi-tech model could find themselves in a great position to enjoy the very best of online shopping.
New figures from Ofcom show an increasing number of people in the UK are turning to computers, laptops and mobile phones in order to buy goods via the internet.
It noted that the growing number of smartphones on the market is fuelling the greater use of the internet.
More people in the UK are now said to enjoy online shopping than in any of the other nations studied.
Indeed, eight in ten Britons said they ordered goods on the web in 2010, while nine in ten suggested they visited retail sites this year.
The process could be even quicker and easier with the help of a new device, such as the recently-released Nokia Lumia 710.
