Selling a mobile phone and switching to Orange could be a good idea for those who want to reduce the amount of money they spend on their data use abroad, after the company announced a new browsing bundle.
The organisation recently launched the new European Union mobile internet browsing bundle, offering those on pay monthly, small business and dongle contracts the chance to use 30Mb for £3 a day.
However, if a customer does not use any data on any particular day, they do not have to pay.
Commenting on the news, Liz Wynn, director of In Life at Orange UK, said: “Travelling abroad is an exciting prospect for everyone and it is now easier than ever to stay connected to friends and family.”
She added Orange has also “revised existing monthly and 30-day roaming bundles for the EU” to help its subscribers get the best value while in a foreign country.
The announcement comes after moneysupermarket.com told they should make sure they know how much they will be charged for using their phone while abroad before they leave.
