Britons who would like to get their hands on a device dubbed the world's most powerful smartphone may have to sell their mobiles first in order to fund the purchase.
Orange has revealed its pricing strategy for the Motorola Atrix, which is set to be available to customers of the network from early May.
People have been invited to register their interest in the handset – a process that could result in them being among the first in line when it is launched.
The company explained the phone is set to be one of the biggest releases in 2011 and is the "true epitome" of mobile computing.
Simeon Bird, director of propositions at Orange UK, said: "We're pleased to be bringing Motorola Atrix to our customers as it's one of the most innovative handsets we've seen this year and it supports our passion for innovation."
Orange recently announced it is set to stock the HTC Desire S for the first time.
