Phone consumers have a unique opportunity to own the world's first 3D smartphone, but they may have to sell their existing mobile first.
Three has announced it is to add the LG Optimus 3D to its range, providing for the first time a handset that will allow 3D videos to be watched on a device.
This will be done on its 4.3-inch touchscreen and the model is said to take gaming to an entirely new level.
Sylvia Chind, head of branded devices at Three, says: "The LG Optimus 3D makes glasses-free 3D available for everyone. This is LG's most advanced smartphone yet, which is exactly why we are so proud to offer it to our customers."
Those who love to play games on their mobile but are not won over by the LG offering could instead opt for another device also set to be offered by Three – the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, which is based on the PlayStation console.
