Samsung has announced that the white version of its Galaxy Nexus series will be arriving at stores in the UK at the start of February, which could lead to more people trying to recycle their mobile phones in order to get their hands on a new device.
A number of online retailers such as Clove and MobileFun have already added the smartphone to their stores for pre-order with the launch date listed as February 6th, while Expansys claim the new product will be available in two weeks' time.
Upon reviewing the Nexus just before Christmas, 3G suggested that the device would be "a smartphone that will set the bar for future Android handsets".
The Nexus is the first of Google's smartphones to run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, which could be another reason for people to try and sell their old mobile phones in favour of this.
Yesterday (January 5th) it was revealed that only 0.6 per cent of Android services currently have the Ice Cream Sandwich update, despite it being released two months ago.
