Samsung has recently released the Samsung Galaxy Round but it promises to delve deeper into the flexible screen technology for mobile phones.
The company has said that it will bring foldable screens to consumers in 2015, which is only just over a year away.
Speaking for the company at Samsung's Analyst Day, Kwon Oh Hyun announced that Samsung
has plans to release fully foldable displays in 2015. Between now and then, the manufacturers will focus on bended displays, such as the ones seen in the Galaxy Round.
However, Samsung has admitted that there are still certain "technology barriers" that need to be overcome before the devices could become a reality, though by setting a timescale, the company is showing it is confident that it can deliver.
Samsung isn't the only manufacturers to be exploring this technology. Earlier this week we heard that LG would be releasing the G Flex, which includes a bendy screen.
