Samsung has revealed the Galaxy Beam is now available for sale in the UK.
The firm's latest handset was originally unveiled in February at the Mobile World Congress, with a key feature being a projector that can beam videos, maps, games and data onto a wall.
Using the Android Gingerbread operating system, it will be available at the start of August and can be obtained for free on some networks, like Orange and T-Mobile.
The device is a unique one, said vice president for Samsung UK & Ireland's telecommunications and networks division Simon Stanford.
He described it as being "great for people who want to watch movies, show photos to friends or need to give a presentation while they're out and about".
Last week, Samsung promised to fix a problem with a software upgrade on the Galaxy S3 in the "next few days", as it had inadvertently removed the smartphone's advanced Google local search function.
