The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is just around the corner but more rumours are still appearing about the upcoming smartphone.

Although the Samsung flagship is both dust and water resistant but the manufacturer is reportedly still planning an Active version of its high-end device.

According to serial tipster @evleaks, the Samsung's Galaxy S5 Active (model number SM-G870x, which has appeared before) will launch on a number of US carriers including Sprint and AT&T.

This suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will come to a number of markets on an array of carriers.

However, many are wondering how Samsung can make a more durable Active version of the flagship when it is quite rugged itself. It is thought that the Galaxy S5 Active will launch alongside a Zoom variant.

The global manufacturing giant is yet to confirm whether or not there is an Active or a Zoom version of its new flagship is on the way.
