Rumours are circulating that mobile phone company Samsung is about to release a new version of its Galaxy S4 Zoom featuring a 16 mega-pixel camera.

Its predecessor had no optical zoom, but speculations suggest this new device will. This feature will enable users to zoom into a photo without sacrificing the quality of the image.

Specifications for the latest version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom are expected to include a 4.3-inch display with 8GB of memory and running Android Jelly Bean.

It is also predicted that the new device will come in both black and white options and probably be released this summer, according to SamMobile.

The device will also have a MicroSD slot, which will boost the memory up to 64GB, and will sport the Samsung TouchWiz Overlay programs.

It is unknown whether the handset will be in dual or quad-core options, possibly both, and what RAM will be on the device.
