The news has been dominated by Apple's release of two mobile phones, the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S, the latter which is available in a shiny, gold colour.
It appears that rival Samsung ihas taken a leaf out of the Cupertino company's book as it is also launching a gold edition of its flagship Galaxy S4.
There are two editions of the gold variant, as Gold Pink and Gold Brown will be made available. However, the news was announced by Samsung Arabia, and whether or not the gold editions will make it out of the United Arab Emirates is unknown.
If it is a success in the Gulf markets though, it's a possibility that the shiny gold versions will make it to other countries. However, there is no confirmation of how much the limited edition device is selling for and when it will actually be released.
The Samsung Galaxy S4, has brand new imaging features, gesture control technology, a five-inch full-HD touchscreen, 13 megapixel rear and two-megapixel front camera and 3G support.
