A launch of Samsung's Galaxy S4 mini mobile phone could be just around the corner, as more pictures have leaked online.

The company appears to be repeating what it did with the Galaxy S3 by making a smaller version of it for the "mini" model.

Pictures indicate that the handset will be around 8mm thick with cheaper plastic casing. There is a microSD slot under the battery rather than on the outside which makes the device a bit chunkier.

The smartphone will have 1GB of RAM but little else is known for sure like whether it will have a five or eight megapixel camera.

A launch could be expected around July or August this year and pricing is also unconfirmed at this point.

Users could reasonably expect it to be more than the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini but less than the full-sized Galaxy S4.
