People that treated themselves to a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be pleased to know that the KitKat 4.4 update will be arriving on your mobile phone soon.

According to SamMobile, Google's latest version of its popular operating system has started to reach users with Samsung's super-sized phablet.

The website claims that the update has started to hit Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users in Poland, though they have had to manually download the software rather than the phablet prompting them to do so.

Although this isn't good news for those in the UK, it does mean that our update shouldn't be that far away.

Over the air updates for Polish users are still yet to be confirmed, suggesting that Google is still in the process of rolling out the heavily-anticipated download.

No specific date has been given for a UK rollout for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users, though it looks as though things are heading in the right direction.
