Just like it did with the Samsung Galaxy S4, the firm may be planning to release two versions of its upcoming Galaxy Note 3 mobile phone with both quad and octa-core variants.

A leaked document picked up by SIM Only Radar has detailed specifications for the upcoming phablet, as well as some sketches.

The information is apparently from the Samsung Galaxy Note 3's user manual and indicates that it will come with two processor types.

It suggests that the company is eyeing up both a Eynos 5 Octa SoC as well as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. Although this seems exciting – we've been here before. When Samsung unveiled the octa-core version of the Galaxy S4, everyone was delighted, only to later find out that very specific regions would be receiving it.

It'll be interesting to see whether the octa-core version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be a global release or if the Korean manufacturer will select a few areas lucky enough to receive it.
