The saga involving mobile phone companies Apple and Samsung has continued as the Korean firm confirmed it has filed a further lawsuit against the American conglomerate.

There has been a series of legal clashes between the two electronics giants in Australia, Germany and the Netherlands and this fresh case is centred around the iPhone 4S and iPad 2, with Samsung claiming they infringe two of its patents.

Samsung confirmed it filed the fresh suit on Tuesday (March 6th) to a Seoul court and it covers three utility patents that involve methods of displaying data, the user interface and short text messages.

The pair of companies have fought more than 30 cases against one another in ten countries since Apple filed the first suit by claiming Samsung "slavishly" copied its iPhone and iPad models last year.

Samsung is not the only company that Apple is having legal wranglings with as it is involved in other disputes with smartphone manufacturers using Google's Android platform.
