Mobile phone users have been asked by Nokia to tell them which hand they use to operate their device.

A poll hosted by Nokia Conversation blog aimed to discover a little more information about the habits of mobile phone users.

Commenting on the findings blogger Rhiain said: "Interestingly some of you use different hands to operate different functions on the phone. Texting and navigating with the right and making calls with the left. Does this again come down to the type of phone you use?"

Forty-four per cent of respondents said they used their right hand and claimed the majority of the vote, 38 per cent changed the hand they made use of depending on what they were using their phone to do and 16 per cent stated they used their left.

Mobile recycling may be an option worth considering for those who would like a new device from Nokia, as it has launched three new handsets – the C3, C6 and E5.
