Samsung’s latest Omnia HD i8910 mobile phone has been wowing reviewers with its HD quality, 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen.

Testing the phone for, John Herrman found the mobile’s screen to be "extremely responsive" to touch commands.

While, the Guardian’s Charles Arthur added: "The i8910 has a gorgeous screen, with fabulous HD-quality graphics."

The camera was also well received, with Mr Herrman describing it as a "rare treat" for users.

In terms of features, the i8910 is well-packed with HSDPA, GPS, up to 16GB of internal storage with microSD expansion, an eight megapixel, HD quality 720p-recording camera sensor, a built-in flash and DLNA network streaming.

This is all powered by the Symbian operating system with the finger-friendly and efficient Touch Wiz user interface.

For those who have recently sold or recycled their old mobile phones, the Samsung i8901 is sure to prove enticing. It is available in the UK though the Orange network.
