With the Mobile World Congress (MWC) just around the corner, we've been seeing a flurry of mobile phones arrive in leaks and online reports. This time it's the turn of Google's Nexus 5.
A red version of the device has already appeared online, suggesting that the search-engine giant could be about to release a special edition of its popular smartphone. However, images have been published once again, suggesting that a release date could be just around the corner.
According to Android Central, which managed to get its hands on the pictures, the scarlet version of the handset will be available from February 4th from the Google Play Store. The website showed a screenshot of what it claims is an internal memo from US carrier Sprint, which indicates the date in question.
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it makes senses that Google may want to use this time of year to release a red version of its popular Nexus 5 smartphone.
