Recycling a used phone may be one of the best ways to fund the purchase of a new white iPhone 4, which is rumoured to be set for release in April.
Reports suggest production of the special devices is underway and they will be available in western nations such as the UK from next month.
This follows several delays for the white version of the revolutionary handset, which may be an exciting change from the standard black models.
Concord Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, speaking to Apple Insider, noted manufacturing has started – a step many have been waiting for the firm to take for some time.
It is thought Apple may have endured some problems producing the white product, but these have now been overcome.
The iPhone 4 was released in the UK and four other countries – France, Germany, Japan and the US – in June last year and was later rolled out across the world.
