Users haven't had the chance to see a quad-core mobile phone from Nokia yet, but there are indications that it could be emerging soon.
Benchmarks for an unnamed Nokia Windows Phone 8 smartphone have been released which implies the company are preparing a new handset sporting a mighty processor, according to GFXBench.
Rumours have been surrounding the upcoming release of the Nokia EOS from the Finnish firm but it's unclear whether these benchmark results show the results from this device.
Other specifications released as part of the results don't really break any records, with the likes of a 720 x 1280 resolution display. However, there is a promising graphics processor which would fit in nicely with the rumoured 41-megapixel camera.
Although nothing is confirmed, it would be nice timing from Nokia as it has its company event in a few weeks time which would just be long enough to whet people's appetites for the rumoured EOS smartphone.
