People might like to trade in their mobile phones and switch to a new device before taking advantage of a tool launched this week by Sainsbury's.

The retailer has confirmed it has created a special online service specifically for mobile users in order to browse products and make purchases.

Click & Collect allows consumers to place an order for items from the store by 14:00 BST and have it delivered to them the very next day.

Various departments of the store – from home and garden to technology and games – are available via the tool.

"We know that our customers are increasingly looking to engage with us digitally and this new mobile shopping site is a big step towards Sainsbury's becoming a true cross channel retailer," explained Tanya Lawler, director of digital and cross channel at Sainsbury's.

The Google Mobile Blog recently revealed that Google Shopper has been updated to help mobile users track down the best deals on a variety of goods.
