The next mobile phone from Nokia, which has up until now been called the EOS, may be named the Lumia 1020 by the time it reaches our shelves.

Toting a 41-megapixel camera, the device has been provoking rumours for months now, but the latest one comes from Twitter user @evleaks.

The notorious tipster has claimed that the Nokia EOS will be unveiled as the Lumia 1020 at the company's event in New York next month.

In a very short tweet @evleaks said "EOS = Nokia Lumia 1020" but, other than the alleged name, very little is known about the flagship device from the Finnish firm.

The upcoming handset is also rumoured to carry a 4.5-inch display, quad-core processor and 32GB of storage which will allow room for all those photos, videos and apps.
