Nokia's Android mobile phone has been the subject of a number of leaked reports and rumours over the past few weeks. Now specifications have been published online by a renowned tipster, suggesting that the device would be a budget-friendly offering.
Avid leaker @evleaks took to his Twitter page once again to announce the details.
The tweet read: "Nokia X: 2 x 1GHz Snapdragon, 4" WVGA, 512MB / 4GB / microSD, 5MP, 1500MAh, Nokia Store + 3rd party, dual-SIM, 6 colors."
Although these specifications put it right next to Nokia's lower end Lumia device – the Nokia Lumia 520 – the biggest change would be the operating system. The handset is expected to come running a version of Android, which would see the Microsoft-owned company favour another operating system over its own.
With no details about the sources of the leak, it's difficult to determine how much truth there is in the news. However, what we do know is that these specifications match with earlier reports about the handset and @evleaks has a pretty good track record with these matters.
