Nokia has made its new mobile phone official, with the unveiling of the Lumia 1020 at a New York event held by the Finnish firm.

However, not much was left unknown about the device after several leaks which managed to leave the company with very little to reveal.

The champion feature of the Nokia Lumia 1020 is the 41-megapixel camera equipped with xenon flash, LED light and next to the Pureview sensor. Every image captured on the device will have a 38-megapixel version along with a five-megapixel image for all that social networking.

Nokia Pro Camera is also in the new smartphone giving users a much wider choice of settings to capture that perfect picture.

The 4.5-inch device also comes with the predictable 2GB of RAM, dual-core Snapdragon processor and a 2,000mAh battery.
