One expert has tested a new game based in the Star Wars universe that could tempt those selling mobile phones for cash.

Spanner Spencer used the Nokia N81 8GB device to review Jedi Mind Tricks this week and noted that it differs from many other current titles that carry the name of the blockbuster sci-fi franchise.

He explained that where many of these rely upon lightsaber battles and outer-space dogfights, this latest entry has much more in common with puzzlers like Bejewelled.

Players take on other Jedi warriors in moving pieces around a board to match rows of icons, with each completed column reducing the energy of the enemy.

"You might not be particularly interested in Star Wars games," the reviewer concluded, "but Jedi Mind Tricks definitely shouldn’t be overlooked."

The Nokia N81 8GB runs the N-Gage gaming platform and other compatible titles available for this include Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Prince of Persia and Need For Speed Undercover.
