Nokia has revealed the details of a significant update for its Lumia range of mobile phones. It has announced a number of key features that will be included in the download.

The Lumia Black update will allow users to group similar apps together in folders within a single Live Tile on the device's home screen. This will make it easier for consumers to personalise their handset to suit their needs and make their favourite apps easier to access.

The Lumia Black update, which has started rolling out worldwide for Lumia 1020 and Lumia 925 devices, will eventually reach all of Nokia's other Windows Phone 8 handsets in the next few weeks.

It also brings Nokia's Refocus camera app, which allows users to adjust the point of focus after they have taken the photo. Budding photographers will also be interested to see the new Nokia Camera interface, as well as the Storyteller option, which organises images by date and place.
