It looks like Nokia fans in the UK won't have to wait much longer to get their hands on the Finnish firm's latest mobile phone.

The Microsoft-owned company made the rumours official by confirming that the Nokia Lumia 1020 has officially landed in the UK and will be released on September 25th.

The 41-megapixel camera-toting device has been in the US for a while now and has taken its time making it over to the UK, but will it be able to get noticed among the Apple iPhone hype?

As well as a huge camera, the 4.5-inch Nokia Lumia 1020 will bring a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 2000mAh battery and will, unsurprisingly, run Windows Phone 8.

Many of the UK's major networks like O2, Vodafone and Three are currently offering the device on various plans as well as online merchants and retailers like Carphone Warehouse. The Nokia Lumia 1020 will cost you around £549.99 without a contract.
