Mobile phone fans looking to invest in the latest technology will soon have another option to add to the list of potential models – the Nokia C7.

According to Flora Graham, writing for CNET UK, the Finnish firm’s plans for a follow-up to the N8 have been uncovered by the Mobile-Review blog.

With the N8 still yet to be released, it is clear the mobile provider is already one step ahead of the game.

“The C7 doesn’t skimp on the great connectivity that we’ve come to expect from Nokia. [It] keeps things ticking over for Nokia, offering a more affordable alternative to the flagship N8,” writes Ms Graham.

It is also expected to include an eight-megapixel camera and features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and will be the second Nokia phone to run on Symbian 3, after the N8.

Asavin Wattanajantra, writing for the same portal, recently said the launch of the N8 had been delayed until October.
