A new device from Nokia has been highlighted for its innovative design and high-performance screen.

Mobile Burn’s Ricky Cadden offered his thoughts on the Finnish manufacturer’s swivel-hinged 7705 Twist this week and drew attention to its status as an “adventurous” gadget.

In addition to the unique way in which the full qwerty keyboard pivots from underneath the front panel of the model, he also explained that the display is “nicely sized” and looks the part.

“This screen is incredibly bright and beautiful – almost leading you to believe it is OLED, when in fact it is only a normal LCD,” Mr Cadden added.

Nokia’s 7705 Twist is equipped with a three-megapixel camera, as well as a built-in media player, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, A-GPS navigation and microSD card support.

It was unveiled by the manufacturer in September and joins others in the firm’s catalogue like the recently launched 5530 XpressMusic.
