Searching for the latest phones that offer simple, affordable style is not always easy, but one reviewer has said he may have the answer.

The Nokia 6700 Classic was analysed in a recent piece for Tech Radar by Gareth Beavis and in the article he explained the handset is very well equipped for a model in its price range.

In addition, the expert said the phone – which is tipped to serve as a replacement to the Finnish manufacturer’s 6300 – is built well, feels comfortable to hold and comes in a “shiny chrome body”.

Boasting a five-megapixel camera and flash, as well as HSDPA connectivity that operates at speeds described as “blindingly fast”, Mr Beavis suggested Nokia has created a gadget that may prove tempting to some.

“For the person who wants a decent phone at a reasonable price […] they should seriously take a good hard look at the Nokia 6700 Classic,” he concluded.

Pocket-lint recently conducted its own study of the handset, drawing attentions to its “cracking” good looks.
