A pair of fashion-focused handsets have been launched that could tempt those looking to sell mobilephones for a more fashionable replacement.

The Nokia 6700 and 7320 were noted by their Finnish manufacturer to have style as a key component of their desirability, but this is also offset with a range of multimedia and photographic facilities.

It was advised that the first of the two is likely to "turn heads" due to its pocketability and wide range of colour choices that include pink, red, petrol blue, aluminium, lime and purple.

The 6700’s five-megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics were also highlighted, as was the 3.2-megapixel snapper of its cheaper 7320 sibling.

However, with 3G connectivity on both of the models, the firm said buyers could find the devices "perfect for capturing and sharing moments as they happen".

The 7320 also features a 2.4-inch display and Nokia concluded: "Being connected has never looked so good."

Spotify announced this week that a new application had been launched for its service which was supported by a range of Nokia’s Symbian-based smartphones.
