Britons might be rushing to sell mobile phones in order to raise funds to pay for an upgrade to the new Nokia 603, which has been released today (October 13th).

The Finnish brand has confirmed that the model will be made available to consumers and features a colourful design and a host of spectacular features.

Said to be "daringly designed", the phone comes complete with near field communication (NFC) technology and is priced affordably in order to attract interest.

Nokia noted that the fact a mobile is affordable to many people is no reason to cut back on its quality.

"Our aim is to ensure all Nokia smartphones are crafted for use, have Nokia's trusted quality, are better connected and contain unexpected surprises like the ability to tap to pair and share with NFC," stated Tuula Rytila, senior vice-president of Nokia.

Last month, news of the arrival of the Nokia N9 was released, with the company suggesting it boasted an exceptional design.
