When one of Apple's company emails leaked telling staff that big things were planned for 2014, many took it as confirmation that we would see larger mobile phones from the firm. Some even went as far to say that a six-inch iPhone would be released at some point this year.
However, new reports have come out that seem to say the complete opposite.
According to Foxconn, Apple is considering making 4.7-inch and 5.7-inch iPhones and that they will carry a type of biometric sensor – probably Touch ID that is already in the iPhone 5S.
Reports a couple of months ago speculated that Apple was testing six-inch smartphones and it may be that the company decided that bigger isn't better and instead opted for the 5.7-inch device.
However, it could also be that the American manufacturer is happy with a six-inch handset and the leak is incorrect. Either way, it appears that we'll have to wait to find out.
