HTC has published an infographic entitled ‘A History of Photography’, and left what could possibly be a teaser concerning its next mobile phone release.

It shows a timeline of developments to handset camera hardware and software, including innovations like the HTC Evo 3D’s ability to capture 3D movies and images.

The Taiwanese firm also boasts about the HTC One X feature which allows users to take photographs while shooting video.

At the bottom, alongside a question mark where an image of the handset would usually be, HTC says it will “[kick] off a new sound and camera experience in 2013”.

The company could be referring to the rumoured M7 device, which could be unveiled at a press event scheduled for February 19th.

Rumours indicate that the smartphone will run the Android Jelly Bean operating system and sport a powerful 1.7 GHZ processor.

It might also have a 13-megapixel camera alongside ‘Ultrapixel’ technology for superior photographs, according to Pocket-Lint.
