Mobile phone fans are today welcoming a new model on to the market, as Alcatel and Virgin Media have teamed up to release the VM202.

Featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, the device is easy to use and built with a sleek and stylish design.

Virgin Media has agreed a deal with the manufacturer to be the first company to stock it, as well as having a one-month market lead over all of its competitors.

The VM202 is the first mobile phone to include a Micro SD card, which brings with it 1GB of memory, meaning people can store all their top emails, photos and files on the handset.

Social networking fans are also well catered for, with the product offering easy access to sites such as Facebook, Twitter and instant messaging services.

Virgin Media provides more than 12 million British homes with broadband internet while also retailing mobile phone and television packages.
